Spring Cleaning Weekend

Today was laundry and linen-storing for the Os (stacks of sheets and blankets on the bed in the sun room = not conducive to relaxation); tomorrow will see the washing of Baby O’s little outfits and blankets, and perhaps construction of a bouncy seat. And Mr. O, prince among men, has plans to clean the bathroom and wash all the floors. Hurrah!

Of course, now that we’ve put away the flannel sheets and down comforter, I can pretty much guarantee that Boston will see snow in the next 7-10 days.

I read in a magazine a great trick for storing sheet sets — fold up the set and put it in one of its pillowcases. Genius.  Unfortunately, it was only after wrestling with and stowing away all the fitted sheets in the house that it occurred to me to look up — and this is embarrassing — how to fold a fitted sheet.

Oh, Martha Stewart.  I should have known.
